BARCELONA, Spain – Under some very special circumstances, the U.S. women’s qualified for tonight’s final of the women’s 4×400 relay to start the final day of the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona. Not only did the Americans better the time to beat by more than five seconds, they clocked the world-leading junior time of the year, running alone in a time of 3:34.25.
