Two USATF masters athletes, W65 middle-distance ace Kathy Martin and M80 sprinter Bob Lida, have been selected as the WMA (World Masters Athletics) Athletes of the year for 2017, making this the first time two U.S. athletes have been honored in the same year. Lida previously won the prestigious award in 2012.
